I've spent several weeks hearing all about Google+. (Of course, I was hearing about them on Twitter & Facebook with 200+ million and 800+ million users, respectively.) I couldn't imagine that there was going to be something so new and so revolutionary that would take these two giants out.
When I began my business in March of 2010, I knew I was going to be walking a fine line. I needed to balance creating an array of services that would appeal to small businesses. And I knew that while there were many, many other internet marketing firms in the area that would be offering the same services, I had to somehow set myself apart from them.
If you ask anyone that really knows me, I hate vegetables. DESPISE them. There are just 5 vegetables that I tolerate. Green beans, peas, corn, lima beans & lettuce. That's it, that's the list. There have to be rules in your internet marketing or social media campaign. Here are 10 rules that you probably learned when you were a young lad or lady on the kindergarten playground.
When I founded my business, I knew that I needed to surround myself with smart business people. Never did I imagine that it would be a game changer. I can sit and contemplate decisions by myself in my office all day long, but talking to someone who has been there, done that 100 times over is invaluable.
As someone with a book background in education and a street background in business - I'm constantly working to combine the two to make things work for my clients. Most of the time, I don't have to work that hard at it. My business (the internet marketing business, that is) is still fairly new, so even 'experienced' people in my field have a difficult time keeping up with the changes.
