When I founded my business, I knew that I needed to surround myself with smart business people. Never did I imagine that it would be a game changer. I can sit and contemplate decisions by myself in my office all day long, but talking to someone who has been there, done that 100 times over is invaluable.
As someone with a book background in education and a street background in business - I'm constantly working to combine the two to make things work for my clients. Most of the time, I don't have to work that hard at it. My business (the internet marketing business, that is) is still fairly new, so even 'experienced' people in my field have a difficult time keeping up with the changes.
Growing up as part of a local family business, working with non-profit organizations has become a natural part of my existence. I am always looking for ways to help local non-profit or charity organizations.
