Simple answer? Yes, you do need a website.
I’ve never come across a business that a well-designed, simple, clean & organized website wouldn’t help bring in new customers.
Do they exist? Sure they do, but I would need convincing to how even the most simple of description of what service your business provides, directions, contact information, etc. wouldn’t make it easier for people to get in touch with you.
The real question you should ask is – how much information do I need to have on my website?
Too little information can frustrate the user and too much information can overwhelm. The trick is to find the ‘Goldilocks formula’ for the perfect amount of questions answered and intrigue. You want the user to be educated in what you do and be interested enough to call or email you to get more information.
Do you need an e-commerce site or be in touch with social media in addition to your website? Those are two different questions for another post.
But you probably need a website, even if it’s a simple one. And lucky for you, I’m the king of simple websites. (Self proclaimed, of course.)
