Brand voice is similar to how we as individuals have our own personality and voice. Are you quirky and and enjoy bringing humor into situations, and speak to those you encounter as such? How do you want your audience to feel when they are interacting with your brand, even through something as simple as reading a social media post?
When it comes to utilizing your brand’s voice, consistency is key. We want to build trust with our audience, help them get to know us and connect with us, and most importantly, stand out from the crowd. Now, this doesn’t mean we can’t switch up the tone of our communication when dealing with different topics – tone and voice are two different things.
