In this week’s episode, we talk about how your website can help get your potential customers through the buying cycle.
As usual, we have so much knowledge to share and so little time to share it. So we split the 5 cycles into two episodes. This episode covers ‘Awareness’ & ‘Consideration’.
Awareness:
“Awareness is the first stage in a customer’s buying cycle when customers realize that they have a problem that needs a solution.”
- Awareness digital ad campaign landing page
- CTA: form submission, phone call, etc.
- Blog topics that answer intro questions in the buys cycle
- Basic CTAs for them to continue their research & have more questions answered if they would like.
- Homepage that speaks to your audience, doesn’t overwhelm them with options & leads them down the next steps of the process clearly
Consideration:
“This stage is where the prospect is considering their options and your company can provide multiple solutions for a customer.”
- Product/service explanation pages
- Embed example videos if applicable
- Create opportunities for connection:
- Social media links
- Dynamic contact form
- Phone number
- Office location/hours of operation
- Create valuable links between related products/services pages, blogs, etc.
- If you have different levels for a product/service, create a comparison table
- Calendar of events for them to follow up in-person
We’ll be back next time to discuss ‘Intent’, ‘Purchase’ and ‘Re-Purchase’
