When I was working with Young's to strengthen their online presence, this is one of the things I came across on the Yelp.com ratings site. Now, most people in Ohio who know of Young's would immediately dismiss this as silliness. But what about the people who don't know anything about Young's and were looking for a good recommendation?

Pretty much everywhere you look nowadays, 'people are saying' that e-mail marketing is a dead art. (Don't you hate the ubiquitous 'people are saying' line. I'll admit I used it just so I could stand on my soap box and hate that people use it, disgusting, I know).

Think back to the first football game you couldn't be home for and taped on your VCR. You were out with the family, enjoying the fall weather, not even slightly concerned about someone coming along and shouting the score to you. No worries, right? Then cell phones came along.
