Shout It Out Design is searching for a remote Part-Time Digital Content Creator.
Compensation: $20 – $30/hr
Hours: Starting 5-10 hours per week. Will fluctuate depending on client work.

At Shout It Out Design, we are partners with our clients in discovering and maintaining their digital presence.

We build custom websites for small to medium sized businesses on WordPress and offer ongoing digital marketing services so clients can get the most out of their digital presence. We help our clients be seen, be heard and be found online.

Our team is looking for a part-time digital content creator to join our team and support the growth we are experiencing.

As our team continues to grow our client base, this is a great opportunity to learn from experienced marketers and make a positive impact on our clients. There is also the possibility to grow into a full time position depending on project capacities and the team vibe.

Responsibilities, Part-Time Digital Content Creator

  • Ongoing client content creation including but not limited to social media, blogging, email marketing, and website content.
  • Client reporting & analysis – make recommendations based on findings for ongoing content strategy.
  • Contributing to internal process reviews and offering recommendations for improvement.
  • Absorbing knowledge like a sponge and advancing at your own pace.
  • General task management and follow up to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.

Requirements

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of digital marketing and 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and technical acumen
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new processes and skill sets
  • Availability to dedicate 5-10 hours per week (primarily during EST business hours)

“Nice to haves” (not required)

  • Experience working with WordPress. For example, styling a page or a blog post, adding images to websites, etc.
  • Basic image editing or graphic design skills (an eye for design). For example, weighing in on page design or a new organization branding strategy.
  • Experience with design tools like Adobe Suite and Canva. For example, social media graphics, sizing images for web, etc.
  • Also, Experience with Basecamp is a plus.
