Responsive Website Design for Young’s Dairy

When I redesigned the website for Young’s Dairy in April of 2010, it was my first site done using WordPress. I didn’t understand the intricacies of what WordPress was capable of. Now, creating sites solely in the CMS for nearly 2 years, I have a much better understanding of how to do many different things using WordPress.

This site is something special though. It’s called a responsive web design, meaning that the site responds differently to the width of the browser window. Open up the website in a new window and adjust the width of your browser and see how the site responds. Open it up on an iPad or tablet and on your mobile phone. The site looks good on any device. Responsive web design is going to take over in the next few years and sites like this are just the start.

The site still focuses on the memories that are made at Young’s every day, upcoming events, directions, menus, etc. And of course, the site still MOOO’S!
